When I (or more precisely, my dad) signed up for rockym93@hotmail.com:

• 56kbit (4 kilobytes/sec) dial up was the internet. (DSL existed, but was for rich people and universities)

• I was seven years old and so totally bored with year 1 because I could already read that they stuck me up the back and let me play with the computer. Hence, my pressing need for an email address, I _don't _think.
• People were apparently cool with letting their seven-year-olds on the internet. I know, right? And apparently I'm too uncreative to think of anything else. Ever.

If there were actually people who read this, I'd say "zomg post ur uzernamez and how long uve had them in teh commentz!!1!!", but my stats tell me otherwise. So... yeah. That was a fun waste of 20 minutes. :P
